Behind the impression.
Departing from the landscapes and crowd scenes most associated with his practice, "Threshold" turns inward. A single doorway, washed in ochre after printing, becomes a study in transition — between rooms, between generations, between silence and speech.
This piece marks a formal turning point in the artist's later work, where restraint replaces density.
